It’s that time of year again. It doesn’t seem like 5 minutes since last year’s exhibition at the show, time really does fly by. I’ve been busy designing posters and printing them off on an old printer I rescued from retirement the other day. I think I’m beginning to be rather a collector of printers; mum used to say that being a collector didn’t have to cost money as dust comes free (I’d certainly agree with her if she was still around.)
I haven’t come up with any brilliant ideas for my panel entry yet. This is part of the club member’s competition and entries will be exhibited at the show with the judging taking place in private before we open to the general public. The judge also has the difficult task of choosing the winners in the non-members section too. More information on how to enter this competition will follow soon. Free entry and cash prizes for the lucky winners. It’s my favourite part of the day, seeing what youngsters have been taking photo’s of and I really do look forward to seeing their prints, they’ve been absolutely marvellous in the past.
