Thursday evening we took part in Stoke Camera Club’s annual Bambury Trophy battle with Blythe Bridge, Newcastle and Leek. The judge was Ian Stewart from the Midland Counties Federation, and he used a wide range of marks from 11 to 20, with only the top few images receiving 16 marks or above. This year Leek were victorious and Blythe Bridge runners-up, this being a reversal of last year’s result; otherwise the order remained the same, with ourselves sandwiched in third place. Paul Swannell’s “Tunnel of Love” was our highest placed individual image in third position with 18 points.
Many thanks to all who contributed images, and special thanks to Lisa, Wendy and Michelle who attended the event to lend their support. Below is a breakdown of the Ashbourne marks as well as the overall result.
