This week sees the final club competition with FLOWER POWER. I’m looking forward to seeing what other members have been up to, it’s usually such a wonderful surprise and makes for an enjoyable evening.
There’s still a few weeks left in the club calendar during which we are taking part in an external “Battle” against Bakewell & Matlock’s camera clubs. Fingers crossed folks!
One final competition at the club is the Image of the Year but entry is only via achieving 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the monthly competitions so it’s not quite a normal competition in the sense of sending in images etc.
I do hope you’ve all enjoyed seeing some of our images kindly reproduced in the local newspaper, The Ashbourne Telegraph. Thanks must go to Carolyn B. for doing that for us.
