Landscape Competition Results
First competition of the season – landscapes – SOOC. There was an air of apprehension as judge FRANK HUTCHINSON R.P.S. made his way through the entries in this first competition of the season. The only constraints were that all images must be straight out of camera with no post-processing (except for straighten and crop).
Frank is very traditional in his outlook regarding composition and the “Rule of Thirds” figures a lot in his idea of what makes a good image. He gave plenty of helpful tips and advice.
The winner of the printed entries was Michelle Brooks with her image entitled “Last Light”
Winner of the digital entries was Peter Edge with his image entitled ‘Frosty Morning on the Trail”.
Congratulations to both winners and our guest judge Frank.
